De AM1710 serie secundaire referentie PRT's biedt betaalbare referentieprobes voor precisietemperatuurmeting en -kalibratie, zowel in het laboratorium als in het veld. Deze PRT's hebben een nauwkeurigheid van <0,012°C en een kortetermijnstabiliteit van <0,007°C.
Om de beste prestaties op het gebied van stabiliteit en herhaalbaarheid te bereiken, is het sensorelement speciaal ontworpen om de platina sensordraad te beschermen tegen vervuiling bij hoge temperaturen. Een unieke ondersteunende structuur en vulmateriaal zorgen voor de beste balans tussen het hysterese-effect, mechanische schokken en thermische schokken. Deze hoogwaardige sonde voldoet volledig aan de ITS-90 criteria voor referentiethermometers. Elke sonde wordt standaard geleverd met een ISO 17025 geaccrediteerde kalibratie.
